Pathology, imaging and prescriptions

Reception can help direct questions about results, repeat prescriptions and referrals. To keep care safe and well-coordinated, some requests will need an appointment with a doctor.

Test results

Your doctor will let you know how results will be communicated. Please book a follow-up appointment to discuss any non-urgent results. Reception cannot provide results over the phone.

Repeat prescriptions

Many repeat scripts can be requested through your pharmacist under Continued Dispensing arrangements, otherwise please book a brief appointment for review.

Referrals

New referrals require a consultation. If a referral is expiring, plan ahead so you don’t run out of medication or specialist cover.

  • Records are stored securely and only accessed by staff involved in your care.
